The USS NORTH CAROLINA (BB-55) Battleship Association: Is looking for shipmates, who served on the USSNC during World War II, for a ship's reunion May 1 through May 4. On Saturday, May 3, the new nuclear submarine NORTH CAROLINA (SSN 777) will be commissioned in Wilmington, NC also. The USSNC is a museum moored on the Cape Fear River in Wilmington, NC.
